Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining computer networks, managing and monitoring installed systems and infrastructure, and installing and configuring network equipment. You will also develop and implement security strategies to protect company data and communications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement secure computer networks, including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
  2. Manage and install network equipment, such as firewalls, virus protection software, and data security systems.
  3. Monitor computer systems to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance network performance.
  4. Develop and implement incident response plans to address potential security threats.
  5. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot application performance issues and implement fixes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, SD-WAN, VPN, and Load balancing, etc.). They must also have hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

A degree in Computer Science or related field, along with 3-5 years of related experience, is required. Additionally, knowledge of MS365 Active Directory, Azure, Cisco, and Fortinet firewall is essential.
