Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, training, and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. They will oversee menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management while maintaining a safe working environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and train kitchen staff to achieve exceptional culinary results
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance as needed to maintain high standards
- Oversee menu planning and food preparation to ensure consistency and quality
- Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks to maintain high culinary standards
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment by conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range between $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
