Job Title: Rent Collector

This role is responsible for managing rental payments, coordinating with property managers and tenants, and ensuring timely rent collection.

  • Rent Management: Utilize Rent Manager software to track and collect rental payments, monitor delinquencies, and maintain accurate records of communications and payment arrangements.
  • Scheduling: Schedule appointments related to lease renewals, property inspections, and maintenance, and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and manage rental income via Rent Manager software.
  2. Foster effective communication with tenants and property managers to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
  3. Accurately process and post rental payments.
  4. Prepare and send rent reminders, notices, and payment confirmations.
  5. Generate reports on rent collection and delinquencies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in property management or rent collection.
  • Proficiency with Rent Manager software.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations is a plus.
