Job Description

The primary function of a Community Engagement Specialist is to foster and maintain effective communication strategies within the community. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across various departments to ensure seamless execution and adherence to established procedures.

The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee that all interactions with contributors align with approved standards. This includes:

  • Promoting tailored communication approaches to engage and manage community members
  • Liaising with Technology Development, Delivery, and Marketing departments as a community representative to provide input and track progress
  • Maintaining open lines of communication to address community expectations and continuously improve their experience
  • Developing and implementing strategies to meet project objectives based on historical data and research findings
  • Analyzing community escalations to identify root causes and proposing corrective actions
  • Crafting presentations on community insights for internal and external audiences
  • Designing and executing initiatives to build and sustain a thriving community
  • Closely collaborating with teams to set and manage community goals
  • Providing support during onboarding processes for new community members and serving as a central point of contact for community-related matters
  • Identifying and tracking relevant community metrics
  • Planning and administering community satisfaction surveys, translating results into actionable recommendations
