As a financial steward, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the fiscal health and stability of an organization. Your primary responsibilities include preparing, examining, and analyzing financial statements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, ensuring they comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Day-to-Day Accounting Functions: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconciliation and Cash Flow Management: Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
  • Assistance with Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and applicable laws. Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Financial Analysis and Recommendations: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for strategic planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred, but not required). You should also have proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel) is essential, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are also necessary. The ability to work independently and in a team environment, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills, are highly valued.
