WordPress Graphic Designer

Overview

This is a full-time role for a skilled Graphic Designer to work with clients on creating visually engaging, user-friendly websites using WordPress. The ideal candidate will have experience in web and graphic design, strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar tools.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and customizing WordPress themes, creating visual assets, page layouts, and mockups for new websites or redesigns, optimizing graphics for performance and responsiveness across devices, collaborating with content creators and developers on integrated designs, enhancing user journey and experience through layout and design improvements, supporting marketing-driven assets such as landing pages, banners, CTAs, and email templates, and maintaining consistent visual identity across all digital properties.

The successful candidate will also stay updated on design trends, tools, and WordPress innovations, translating marketing goals into effective design strategies, and articulating design concepts, collaborating with team members, and engaging with clients through clear and coherent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with similar tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision is a plus. A proven portfolio showcasing expertise in web and graphic design is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an agile environment, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining open communication with the team and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in web and graphic design
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar tools
  • Background in web and graphic design with a proven portfolio
  • Skilled in translating marketing goals into effective design strategies
  • Clear and coherent verbal and written communication skills
