We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a freelance basis.

This is a remote position with a flexible schedule, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or office.

As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for preparing, examining, and analyzing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to project future expenses.
  • Budgeting: Develop and maintain budgets, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Software Management: Manage and maintain financial databases, software systems, and manual filing systems to ensure seamless operation.

You will also be required to provide strategic financial recommendations based on financial analysis, coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure documentation compliance, and collaborate with management to provide insights for financial decision-making.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and numerical abilities, and effective written and verbal communication skills.

In addition, you will need to have proficiency in accounting software and tools, experience with international or country-specific financial accounting, and knowledge of regional financial regulations.
