Real Estate Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Video Editor to join our team. As a key member of our video production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality real estate videos that showcase properties in the best possible light.

Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of advanced editing experience with Final Cut Pro X, including multi-cam workflows, transitions, stabilization, and color grading. They should also have proven experience editing videos for real estate listings, including familiarity with drone integration and walkthrough formats.

The successful candidate will have a strong design and composition sense, especially in showcasing architectural features, interior lighting, and exterior landscaping. They should be able to manage high-volume content with fast turnaround while maintaining consistent visual and brand quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Edit real estate video presentations using Final Cut Pro, combining ground footage, drone shots, and music to highlight property features with a cinematic edge.
  • Structure video narratives that match the aesthetic expectations of modern real estate buyers and align with brand guidelines and listing goals.
  • Complete one full video within a shift; deliver a second video from that batch the next day.
  • Organize and sync raw media from multiple camera sources (drone and ground), ensuring color consistency, clean transitions, and audio clarity.
  • Work closely with producers and clients to implement feedback quickly and accurately, especially for high-stakes listings or brand-driven content.
  • Export and optimize videos for MLS platforms, YouTube, and Instagram, tailoring resolutions and formats for various marketing channels.

Requirements:

  • Advanced editing experience with Final Cut Pro X.
