We are seeking an experienced clinical coding auditor specialist to conduct audits in various medical coding specialties in inpatient settings to assess coding accuracy and ensure adherence to official coding guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient coding with exposure to multiple specialties, as well as experience in quality auditing. They will be responsible for conducting thorough audits, providing detailed rationale and supporting references for recommendations and findings, and utilizing industry-recognized references to support review findings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Active CPC, COC, CCS, CCS-P certifications
  • Active PHRN License
  • 5 years experience in outpatient coding with exposure to multiple specialties
  • 1 year experience in each specialty with a minimum of 2 specialties Same Day Surgery, Observation, Interventional Radiology, Oncology, Transplant, OB GYNE, Emergency
  • 1 year experience as Quality Auditor
