About the Job

This position involves comprehensive support for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing processes, including managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Credentialing Support: Provide support for all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, serve as a key point of contact for providers and external entities for credentialing-related inquiries and processes.
  • Privileging and Onboarding Assistance: Assist with the provider privileging process, prepare necessary documentation, and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding.
  • Reporting and Process Contribution: Support the generation of credentialing reports, identify and help resolve credentialing issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.

Requirements

Applicants should possess relevant administrative support experience, ideally within a healthcare setting or regulated environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience.
  • Administrative Acumen: Strong understanding of data entry, documentation, and administrative workflows.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
