Job Description

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing project management processes, ensuring successful project execution within the Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain project governance standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Continuously assess and enhance project management methodologies, tools, and templates to streamline project workflows and increase overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers and department heads to allocate resources effectively and align with strategic priorities.
  • Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions to address any potential issues or deviations from project goals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively developing risk management strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and providing guidance on resource allocation to optimize cost-effectiveness.
  • Produce comprehensive project status reports, communicate project updates to stakeholders, and facilitate regular meetings to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, leading and mentoring the PMO team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, understanding their needs and ensuring their involvement in key project decisions.
  • Manage the organization's project portfolio, aligning projects with strategic objectives and prioritizing initiatives accordingly.
