Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for performing month-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of underlying financial data, and preparing Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of required reports needed by management and other departments, perform financial analysis required by management and other departments, and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.
As a finance specialist, you will have the opportunity to provide support in the implementation of process improvements and execute processes in compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and local statutory.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any Finance-related program, basic familiarity with Excel formulas and functions, knowledge in General Accounting best practices and Financial Analysis, and knowledge in International Accounting Standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform month end closing activities such as preparation of low to medium complexity journals and flux/variance analysis based on the financial close calendar
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of underlying financial data for general ledger accounts with proper supporting documentation
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations for accounts with low to medium complexity and ensure reconciling items are cleared timely
- Coordinate with other finance teams (AP, AR, Procurement) and/or other departments to resolve reconciling items
- Coordinate with external banks, vendors and other relevant teams to gather required information for month end close
- Execute processes in compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP and local statutory
- Perform accounting and other ad hoc tasks as needed
