Overview

As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across all levels of seniority within our organization. We seek individuals with exceptional sales experience in the technology industry.

Our company is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to global enterprises and tech markets. Our platform powers breakthrough initiatives like public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. We partner with top public cloud and silicon providers, and industry leaders in various sectors. Our team collaborates globally, with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries, mostly remote.

We are seeking Enterprise Sales and Alliances Sales representatives to drive revenue growth and meet our goals. These roles involve:

  • Advancing knowledge of Linux and cloud software ecosystems, and open source selling models
  • Negotiating contracts and commercial business terms
  • Building and expanding strategic relationships
  • Owning the strategy and development of sales engagements
  • Growing customers' awareness of open source capabilities on our platform
  • Delivering on targets, objectives, and providing a voice for partners and/or customers
  • Traveling domestically and internationally to drive partnerships
  • Aligning internal Field teams to identify, support, grow, and transact
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Product Management to deliver on targets and provide a voice for partners and/or customers
  • Leading executive interlocks between partners/customers and our leadership team
Requirements
  • A track record of exceeding expectations in revenue generation within our technological field
  • Experience with Linux and open-source technologies
  • An exceptional academic record from high school and university, regardless of current position seniority
  • An undergraduate degree in a technical subject or an alternative chosen path
  • The confidence to share ideas, exchange feedback, and speak up respectfully
  • Leadership and commitment to skills development and mentorship
  • A passion for technology demonstrated through personal projects and initiatives
  • A strong work ethic and ability to shine among motivated colleagues
  • Professional English language skills, excellent presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Curiosity, flexibility, accountability, and appreciation for diversity
  • A results-oriented mindset, self-motivation, and a high level of personal drive to meet commitments
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events and more regularly to meet clients and partners
