Senior Backend Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team in the ongoing development and evolution of our platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend solutions using Python backend services.

This role offers the opportunity to make significant technical contributions to a sophisticated platform used by marketing professionals while collaborating with team leads. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the development of our platform, ensuring it remains scalable and efficient.

  • Design and implement robust backend solutions: Utilize your knowledge of Python backend services (Flask, FastAPI) to design and implement scalable and maintainable backend solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product management, UI/UX designers, and engineering leads to ensure seamless execution of technical specifications.
  • Optimize application performance: Identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations to ensure our application remains responsive and efficient.
  • Apply best practices: Stay up-to-date on the latest tools and techniques, recommending them for incorporation into our platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in backend development: Proven track record of delivering high-quality backend solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python and related frameworks: Strong understanding of Python and its ecosystem, including Flask and FastAPI.
  • Experience with SQL databases and ORM technologies: Familiarity with SQL databases and ORM technologies such as SQLAlchemy.
  • Understanding of state management patterns and testing frameworks: Knowledge of state management patterns and testing frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
