At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the creation of high-quality video content that showcases our mission to make education accessible to all.
This role involves collaborating with a talented team of creators, scriptwriters, and editors to develop engaging, platform-optimized content that resonates with our audience.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional English language abilities, strong creative instincts, and the ability to balance quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
">- Support the development of video content for various marketing channels, emphasizing engagement and discoverability on YouTube.
- Onboard and mentor a group of video creators and editors to ensure seamless and efficient production processes.
- Experiment with diverse video formats, incorporating inspiration from successful content outside traditional educational content.
- Utilize AI and tech tools to streamline production, enhance video quality, and provide ongoing feedback and direction.
- Monitor trends and platform updates to drive innovation and viewer engagement.
- Provide clear support, feedback, and troubleshooting for freelancers, as well as proactive communication of production rates, obstacles, and resource requests to the team lead.
- Bring a deep understanding of what makes video content compelling, including scripting techniques, editing strategies, and visual structure.
- 2–3 years of experience in video creation, preferably in academic or informational fields, with a solid understanding of the YouTube ecosystem.
- Skilled in sourcing and guiding video content creators to produce engaging, platform-optimized content.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere and familiar with other editing and graphics tools.
- Experienced in scripting, storyboarding, producing videos, and collaborating with editors.
- Data-savvy and comfortable running content experiments to improve engagement and retention.
- Strong creative instincts with a passion for trends, effective titling, thumbnails, and pacing.
