Job Summary

eData Services Philippines Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing strategies to optimize operational efficiency and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and analyze large data sets to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of operational processes and procedures.
  2. Develop and implement data collection processes and management systems to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and initiatives aimed at optimizing operational efficiency and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Establish and maintain standards and best practices for consistent and accurate data usage.
  5. Design and develop analytics tools that utilize data pipelines to drive better functionality and insights.
  6. Collaborate with data analytics managers to enhance the functionality of data systems.
  7. Evaluate and implement new data technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
  8. Communicate data insights in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be open to shifting schedules and/or night shifts.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft ETL tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, M365 PowerApps, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting techniques acquired through an advanced degree program or professional qualification and related work experience.
  • Experience in a similar role involving KPI development, data analysis, process improvement, or performance management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, particularly data interpretation/understanding to report objectives.
  • Fast thinker and strategist.
  • Perform data collection, cleaning, and management to ensure data integrity and readiness for analysis.
  • Develop custom reports, dashboards, visualization, and innovative procedures to streamline efficient processes, improve user experience, and productivity.
  • Self-motivated, can work with minimal supervision, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Natural researcher with a characteristic 'find-a-way' attitude, always looking for solutions rather than roadblocks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, good presentation skills.
