About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Quality Control Manager to join our team at Jobstreet - Jobboard.

Job Summary:
  • Monitor and Maintain Water Quality: Ensure chemical feed rates correspond to recommended dosages and flow rates, and inspect equipment for defects or damage.
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Monitor and record performance of vacuum pumps, air compressors, pulsation settings, scour air blowers, backwash pumps, service water pumps, and flash mixers.
  • Conduct Routine Maintenance: Perform daily flushing and cleaning of feed lines, clean distribution boxes and preparation tanks weekly, and store tanks twice a year.
  • Oversee Chemical Deliveries: Verify accuracy, authenticity, and quality of chemical deliveries.
  • Assist with Filter Washing and Sludge Extraction: Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, mechanical rakes, and mobile machinery, and perform filter washing procedures and basin desludging protocols.
Requirements:
  • Education and Work Experience: Graduate of any technical/vocational course or at least two years in college, with preferably one to three years of related work experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic reading, writing, and analytical skills required, ability to perform various mathematical functions, and computer literacy.
  • Personal Attributes/Attitudes: Capable and willing to go on shifts, willingness to work additional hours to meet targets and tight deadlines, customer service oriented, diligent, dedicated to work, persistent, and physically fit, results-driven and proactive.
