Job Opportunity: Tax Accountant

We are seeking a seasoned Tax Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:
  • As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF).
  • You will also be involved in the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other client reporting requirements.
  • In addition, you will review and reconcile financials, including data entry and perform general accounting procedures as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Tax Accountant in the Australian tax system.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA/CA qualifications preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English business communication skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
  • High-level Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of Xero, Xero Tax, and XPM.
  • Keen attention to detail, time management, and accounting administration skills.
