Job Description

The Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that Blocktec Trading Incorporated adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures. This role involves monitoring compliance activities, acting as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Monitoring:
    • Evaluate adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
    • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.
  • Risk Assessment:
    • Identify potential compliance risks and recommend strategies for mitigation.
    • Stay updated on changes in legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and present compliance reports to management and stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings.
  • Liaison Activities:
    • Serve as the primary contact for external regulatory bodies and auditors.
    • Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and inspections.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies or related field.
  • Proven experience in compliance, risk management or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations (DTI's BIR, Customs, Government Agencies).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
