This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in structural engineering, particularly in bridge design and construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and client requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on various projects, including bridges, tunnels, rail, and miscellaneous steel and concrete structures.
- Manage day-to-day tasks of projects of varying complexity and size.
- Liaise with other disciplines in report and proposal preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of specifications, proposals, and other documentation under supervision.
- Carry out cross-discipline reviews, constructability checks, and clash detection reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer.
- Member of chartered status of CPENG (Desired).
- At least eight (8) years relevant work experience.
- Proven structural design experience for bridges, ground support, tunnel linings, and/or retaining walls.
- Proficiency in Projectwise, Blue Beam Revu, AutoCAD/Microstation/Revit, MS Word, and MS Excel.
