Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to oversee and manage our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

This role will appeal to a well-versed and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant who is looking to further their career in a rapidly growing business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial stability and supporting decision-making by providing accurate financial data to management.

The role sees you supporting and facilitating the week-to-week accounts for our busy markets and events.

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of company bank accounts and credit cards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MYOB - A MUST.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
