Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team at Cougar Athletic Trends Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for various retail projects. This includes working closely with the Retail Development and Operations team to collate information, prepare plans and specifications, and undertake presentation of charts and graphs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawing standards and practices, as well as proficiency in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Collates drawings, diagrams and specifications to illustrate workflow
  • Prepares detailed drawings of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, sanitary plans and other work using CADD system
  • Undertakes/edits presentation of charts, graphs, tables, reports, standards and other illustrative drawings
  • Identifies dimensions, weight limits and demands in materials and equipment for construction purposes
  • Assists in development of project timelines and calculates overall cost of a project
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation for all drafts and design changes
  • Conducts field visits and inspections to gather information and validate designs when necessary
