Cybersecurity Expert

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integration of security throughout the development lifecycle of systems, applications, and infrastructure. This includes reviewing implementations for compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices, as well as supporting vulnerability identification and mitigation.

• Conduct regular security assessments and reviews of systems, applications, and infrastructure components to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and infrastructure teams, to ensure that identified security gaps are addressed before deployment.
• Assist in evaluating change requests (RFCs) to ensure alignment with security standards and policies.
• Document findings from vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Provide input during design reviews and implementation planning to ensure that security is integrated into the development process.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT Security or related roles.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Has experience in project management and team leadership.

• Solid understanding of IT security domains – network and application security.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation practices.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret technical findings.

• Work environment may require extended hours, weekends, and holidays to meet deadlines and ensure business continuity.
