Vector Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vector Designer to create high-quality vector graphics for digital and print applications. You will collaborate with our creative team to develop icons, illustrations, infographics, and other assets that align with our brand and engage our audience.

This role requires strong technical skills in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, as well as excellent attention to detail and creativity. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Original Vector Illustrations: Create original vector illustrations, icons, logos, and other graphic elements that meet brand guidelines and visual standards.
  • Convert Sketches into Scalable Vector Artwork: Convert sketches or concepts into scalable vector artwork using design software.
  • Ensure Graphics Meet Brand Guidelines: Ensure all graphics meet brand guidelines, visual standards, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with Design Teams: Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, and product managers to deliver visual assets that support campaigns and products.
  • Revise and Improve Existing Assets: Revise and improve existing vector assets as needed.
  • Stay Updated on Design Trends: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Vector Designer, Illustrator, or similar role.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (and other vector-based design tools such as CorelDRAW, Affinity Designer, etc.).
  • Strong Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing vector artwork and design versatility.
  • Color Theory Understanding: Solid understanding of color theory, typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Project Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
