As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, including calculations and reporting. You will also process payroll for various employment types and ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws, awards, and Fair Work Act requirements. In addition, you will prepare and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports to the ATO and generate and review financial reports, including BAS and PAYG.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including calculations and reporting.
  • Process payroll for full-time, part-time, casual, and contractor employees.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit STP reports to the ATO.
  • Generate and review financial reports, including BAS and PAYG.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Australian payroll.
  • Proven experience with Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB payroll modules.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
