Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team as a Tax Supervisor/Manager. This role will be responsible for leading tax compliance and planning activities for various clients, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and managing client databases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US tax experience, excellent analytical skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in accounting systems such as Lacerte, Ultratax, CCH, OneSource, Karbon, QuickBooks Online is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tax compliance and planning activities for various clients
  • Prepare and review income tax returns for corporations, individuals, partnerships, nonprofits, estates and trusts
  • Manage and maintain client tax databases
  • Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions
  • Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits
  • Review junior staff work for accuracy and coach them on performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Senior level with US tax experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Lacerte, Ultratax, CCH, OneSource, Karbon, QuickBooks Online
