Job Overview

The Senior General Ledger Accountant role is a critical position within our organization.

About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced professional to manage and perform general ledger activities, including fixed assets, intangibles, leases, intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, prepaids, GRIR, stock rotation, accruals, and tax-related entries.
  • The successful candidate will lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • They will be responsible for preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis.
  • This individual will analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies is also essential.
  • Collaboration with external auditors and supporting audit requirements will be required.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with AP, AR, Payroll, FP&A, and other teams to ensure data integrity will be necessary.
Requirements
  • A CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA is crucial.
  • A strong understanding of IFRS or GAAP, accounting principles, and internal financial controls is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have proficiency in using Concur, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and banking platforms such as JPMorgan Access.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and clear communication skills are essential.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
