About This Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical finance professional to join our team in a full-time Assistant Accountant role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with experience supporting finance teams in organisations that follow UK or US GAAP. You will be confident preparing management accounts and performing general accounting duties in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic setting, enjoy evolving roles, and be always looking for ways to improve processes. They will have (or be working towards) a recognised accounting qualification such as a CPA and bring a can-do attitude to their work.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Support internal and external audits through accurate record keeping and reporting

  • Monitor and forecast cash flow on a regular basis

  • Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable

  • Issue customer invoices and manage accounts receivable and credit control

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances monthly

Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Broad experience in finance roles within companies adhering to UK or US GAAP

  • Track record of process improvement and automation in finance functions

  • Strong knowledge of management accounts preparation and general ledger maintenance

  • Excellent English communication skills, attention to detail, and computer literacy

  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CPA)
