Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies in collaboration with the Head of Finance and Administration.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure timely payment of bills and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other supporting documents.
  • Provide input into departments goal setting process.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead the accounting team and provide guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 7 years working experience in a similar function.
  • Action oriented, strong attention to details and good project management skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into management level summaries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent MS office skills desired as the role will manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP.
  • Experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with GAAP principles.
  • Prior experience in preparing financial statement, budgets, and participating in audits.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
