Investment Leader

The Investment Team is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial analysis to stakeholders across the organization. In addition, the team executes investments, divestments, mergers and acquisitions, creates, reviews, and updates investment policies and governance measures that apply to the organization and its strategic business units (SBUs). The team also manages the Board and Management Investment Committees, identifies and promotes best practices across the organization's investment teams, and provides support as required.

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of projects, such as investments and divestments of shares in companies or assets. Requires an ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders to complete projects.

  • Financial and Valuation Analysis: Lead the project team in the financial, valuation, and returns analyses of proposed projects. Ensure the effective conduct of research, challenge the validity of assumptions, evaluate the impact of deal structures & financing options, and prepare management reports and presentations.

  • Development and Implementation of Group-wide Financial Policies: Assist in ensuring that group-wide financial policies relating to investments, divestments, mergers, acquisitions and material capex are developed and optimized in a timely manner.

  • Development and Implementation of Best Practices: Assist in identifying and/or developing best practices across the organization that can be shared and institutionalized.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.

  • At least 9 to 12 years of relevant experience in investments, corporate finance, or similar areas, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.

  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and developing teams.

  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to drive high-impact initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
