We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Healthcare Support Specialist.
This role involves managing administrative tasks in a healthcare setting, ensuring accurate patient records, and supporting the medical team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
This job requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare management software, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting is also required.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and maintaining patient records using EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Performing clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
- Assisting healthcare professionals with administrative tasks and documentation
- Maintaining confidentiality and secure handling of all patient information
