Community Engagement Specialist

About this Role:

This full-time Community Engagement Specialist will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for growing and engaging the online community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor donor feedback and sentiment on official social media platforms.
  • Provide timely and professional support to private sector donors, responding to inquiries via various channels and documenting interactions.
  • Share and promote user-generated content created by donors.
  • Closed all donor inquiry cases within 24-48 hours from Monday to Friday.
  • Escalate inquiries to the proper person/department when necessary.
  • Prepare monthly reports on donor feedback and inquiries received on official social media platforms.
  • Assist core staff in donor care tasks and special fundraising events as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in community management or social media marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for building communities.
  • Experience in organizing successful events and managing online communities.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for community engagement.
  • Understanding of content marketing and digital marketing strategies.
  • A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
