Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position focused on automating cloud infrastructure, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting the scalability and reliability of our applications across environments.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to streamline infrastructure that powers our global tourism platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure tools and automation using Python, Bash, Terraform, or Nix to enhance the scalability, reliability, and performance of platforms.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support multiple development teams.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, providing analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and promote blameless postmortems.
  • Develop and uphold service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets for our services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, responding to and mitigating service interruptions and technical challenges.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform.
  • Production-grade Docker and Kubernetes experience.
  • Experience scaling MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic).
  • Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams, operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
