Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Officer

At Southern Global Services Multi-Purpose Cooperative, we are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the administration of company-initiated and government-mandated benefits, ensuring timely and accurate processing of planned activities, and ensuring compliance with government rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of company-initiated and government-mandated benefits, ensuring compliance with government rules and regulations.
  2. Employee Data Management: Ensure accurate reporting of employee data required for mandated benefits, and process documentation requirements for employees.
  3. Compensation Planning: Monitor and update compensation plans, monetary and non-monetary benefits, and recommend new policies and procedures based on approved guidelines.
  4. Employee Support: Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding compensation and benefits, providing clear and accurate information, and facilitate benefits related to violence against women and children, maternity leave, paternity leave, bereavement leave, and other relevant benefits.
  5. Document Validation: Validate documents for SSS Maternity and Sickness benefits, ensuring timely disbursement of benefits.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with the Finance team to track the status of pending reimbursement of advanced benefits, and ensure timely crediting of amounts to the company's bank account.
