Job Description:

At Rippedboxstation, we are seeking a highly skilled Solar Design Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the design and development of solar energy systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed AutoCAD designs, reviewing technical specifications, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure design accuracy and project alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop detailed 2D and 3D plans, elevations, and perspective views using AutoCAD and other computer applications;
  • Collaborate with engineers, procurement, and project management teams to ensure design accuracy and project alignment;
  • Review and revise designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and customer specifications;
  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices;
  • Generate and manage project documentation, including design changes and revisions;
  • Coordinate with inspectors to validate designs and ensure compliance with local building codes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field;
  • Proven working experience in solar design or related fields;
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, KeyShot rendering plugin, Illustrator, or other design programs;
  • Knowledge of electrical and structural engineering principles;
  • Working knowledge of graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Excellent portfolio of previous works;
  • Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines;
  • Strong work ethic and initiative;
  • Clear and concise communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
