Financial Analyst Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to create and maintain comprehensive financial models that provide a clear view of company performance and cash flow under various scenarios.

Our ideal candidate will have expertise in building integrated 3-statement financial models using Excel, with the ability to connect operational metrics to financial outcomes.

Key objectives of this role include:

  • Building and Maintaining Financial Models: Develop and maintain fully integrated 3-statement financial models that provide actionable insights into company performance.
  • Forecasting and Scenario Analysis: Create and update driver-based forecasting models that connect operational inputs to financial outcomes, while also designing and implementing dynamic revenue and cost drivers to support flexible scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with the finance and executive teams to ensure seamless integration of forecasts with strategic goals, and to prepare clear and insightful variance analysis to guide strategic decisions.

Required skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, FP&A, investment banking, or corporate finance.
  • Proven experience building 3-statement financial models in Excel, with a deep understanding of GAAP financial statements and the mechanics of how P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow interconnect.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational inputs into financial impacts using driver-based logic.

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience working in SaaS, eCommerce, or other recurring revenue business models.
  • Experience preparing materials for board meetings or investor updates.
