QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team in Manila. This role involves building an automated test environment from scratch, utilizing Cypress or Playwright alongside BrowserStack.

About the Role

This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about automation and testing.

  • Use open source/commercial frameworks & libraries to build out our automated testing system and suite of automated tests.
  • Work on both browser-based UI testing and API testing.
  • Collaborate with our manual QA engineer to prioritize which tests need automation.
  • Partner with engineers to build efficient processes for reporting issues discovered by automated tests and ensuring effective follow-up.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record of building automated test environments from scratch.
  • Strong experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.
  • Proficiency with BrowserStack for web testing.
  • Strong understanding of both browser-based UI testing and API testing.
  • A high level of JavaScript engineering skill.
  • Previous experience collaborating closely with Software Engineers.
