We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of End-User Computing (EUC) Helpdesk Support specialist. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and accurate assistance to customers with various technical issues.
  • Evaluate and resolve customer complaints according to established SLAs.
  • Gather essential information from customers before escalating complex issues.
  • Monitor server notifications and respond promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Develop detailed documentation for technical procedures and support-related processes.
  • Install, configure, and manage network equipment.
  • Configure and upgrade server hardware and software.
  • Manage NMS monitoring and alert systems.
  • Perform routine network and system maintenance tasks.
  • Demonstrate expertise in system log management and backup/restore processes.
  • Develop scripts for system automation and integration.
  • Participate in application testing and report findings.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in Cisco or other IT areas are beneficial.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support is desirable.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of network equipment.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating System and Windows Server applications.
  • Familiarity with patch management, firewalls, and proxy servers.
  • Experience working with Linux, VPNs, and SQL databases.
  • Scripting skills using PHP, Perl, Bash, or Python are valuable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and written.
