About this Role

We are seeking a skilled junior backend developer to join our team. As a key member of our Dev Ops department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of cloud-based applications and platforms.

As a junior backend developer, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of people. You will have a level of autonomy to perform your role while reporting directly to the CTO and collaborating closely with the Head of Product.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of backend applications and APIs.

  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

  • Support database management.

  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies relevant to backend development and cloud computing.

  • Key Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of solid hands-on experience in designing & developing server-side applications including at least 1 year of experience with Nodejs.

  • Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

  • Experience with unit testing.

  • Experience using Git.

  • Experience with designing API.

  • Docker.

  • Experience in SDLC process.

  • Understanding algorithms and data structures.
