Senior Web Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled senior web developer to join our team. This role offers the chance to work on high-fidelity websites and web applications, utilizing the latest versions of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (React and TypeScript). Your responsibilities will include creating new content, updating existing projects, managing incoming requests for updates, and collaborating with other team members to ensure consistency in our product portfolio.


Job Description:

As a senior web developer at Canonical, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex user interfaces. You will need to have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS with SCSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with responsive user interfaces for a wide range of devices and browsers.


Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working on modern web applications.
  • A strong understanding of HTML, CSS with SCSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Ability to interact with UX designers and server-side developers.
  • Curiosity about technology and a thirst to learn.

Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with Linux desktop technologies.
  • Server-side languages such as Python or NodeJS.
  • Experience working on a large-scale React project with TypeScript.
