Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Fleet Manager to oversee the allocation and utilization of our heavy equipment fleet to meet project requirements. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing regular inventory reports on ordered items and their expected delivery dates;
  • Reviewing equipment quotes for completeness, ensuring they include customer signatures, terms, selling prices, and advising sales specialists if any information is missing;
  • Creating contracts for proper billing, establishing yearly equipment tariffs, generating monthly billing, and coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams;
  • Managing the allocation and utilization of heavy equipment to meet project demands;
  • Coordinating equipment movements between job sites;
  • Monitoring equipment usage to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime;
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment inventory, including make, model, and serial numbers;
  • Conducting periodic equipment inventories to verify accuracy.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Engineering or relevant professional experience;
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
