Security Engineering Role Overview

This role involves monitoring and responding to security alerts, performing triage and in-depth analysis, and conducting security investigations using historical data.

  • Key responsibilities include identifying and mitigating potential security threats, developing and implementing effective security protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for cyber security, excellent communication skills, and a good working knowledge of security technologies such as network and application firewalls, host intrusion prevention, and anti-virus.

They will also demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be an entry-level professional with a Bachelor's degree and a willingness to work on a shift rotation, including regular weekends and night shifts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, threat analysis, and incident response.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good working knowledge of security technologies, including network and application firewalls, host intrusion prevention, and anti-virus.
  • Ability to analyze complex security data and identify potential threats.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
