About the Role

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join its Office of the General Counsel. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the bank's mission to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will provide legal services in the processing, negotiating, and administering of nonsovereign financing transactions with a focus on ADB's equity investment products.
  • Support ADB's third-party fund management, advising on fund formation and administration for parallel and blended finance in private sector operations.
  • Resolve complex issues and mitigate legal risk for ADB, assist with investment approvals, portfolio management, and restructurings.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
  • Admission as a lawyer in one or more of ADB's member countries.
  • At least 8 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience advising on private equity funds or direct equity investment transactions.
