Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of editing reality-style or unscripted multi-cam footage and be able to work collaboratively with a team to produce high-quality content.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing multi-cam footage with separate sound, collaborating with the team to release more than one video per week, managing and mentoring junior editors as needed, ensuring consistent quality and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit multi-cam footage with separate sound to create engaging, polished videos.
  • Collaborate with the team to release more than one video per week.
  • Manage and mentor junior editors as needed, ensuring consistent quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Work with unscripted, freestyle content to create compelling narratives and maintain viewer engagement.
  • Conduct trial edits to demonstrate proficiency and alignment with our creative vision.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in video editing, preferably with reality or unscripted multi-cam content.
  • Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives from unscripted footage.
  • Familiarity with sound syncing and audio post-production.
  • Experience working in a team environment; prior team management experience is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with flexible schedules and overlapping hours with a US-based team.
