As a professional in the insurance industry, you will be working closely with advisors to create and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist advisors in preparing and analyzing financial needs analysis reports. They will also conduct research on insurance products, superannuation, and tax strategies to support the development of financial plans. Additionally, they will collaborate with advisors to identify appropriate investment strategies based on client needs and goals.

  • Prepare and analyze financial needs analysis reports
  • Conduct research on insurance products, financial concepts, superannuation, and tax strategies
  • Collaborate with advisors to identify investment strategies
  • Attend client meetings to present and review financial plans
  • Gather necessary financial information and documents from clients
Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting advisors in creating financial plans
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports

  • Managing client information in the company's database
Competencies and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner or in a similar role
  • Accounting or similar experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills
  • Good math skills and ability to work with numbers
  • Familiarity with legal documents related to insurance products
  • A desire to become an expert in both insurance products and advice preparation
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
