Job Overview:

We are currently searching for an accomplished buyer with strong supply chain management skills to oversee the procurement of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine strategic procurement plans to secure high-quality products from internal and external sources at optimized costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize raw material losses and effectively manage distressed inventory items.
  • Implement effective strategies for daily supply chain management, integrating sales forecasts with procurement, supplier management, and inventory control.
  • Identify potential gaps in materials or suppliers and collaborate with regional/global purchasing teams to expand the supplier base.
  • Develop staff capabilities and drive organizational growth.
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance overall operations by collaborating with suppliers on quality improvement projects.

This role also involves developing and implementing Quality Management Systems to ensure consistent quality standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in planning and procurement functions, preferably in a multinational setting.
  • Proficient in supply-materials planning and knowledgeable about industry best practices.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience in procurement is preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
