Job Description

The Digital Learning Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive digital content that supports training initiatives. This includes designing, animating, and producing instructional videos using tools such as Powtoon.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing Visual Content: Transform written training materials into dynamic visual formats using Powtoon or similar tools, ensuring clarity, engagement, and retention.
  • Storyboarding & Planning: Collaborate with content creators to storyboard scenes, plan visual flow, and determine the most effective visual treatment for each project.
  • Audio Integration: Integrate narration, background music, and sound effects to enhance tone and timing in video content.
  • Video QA & Iteration: Review and revise videos based on team and learner feedback to ensure high-quality final deliverables.
  • LMS Collaboration: Coordinate with LMS Content Coordinators and/or Training Developers to format, test, and upload videos to learning management systems.
  • Template Management: Build and maintain reusable video templates to ensure consistency and streamline production.
Key Skills
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to transform complex concepts into engaging visual content.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Proficiency in Powtoon or similar animation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
