Cloud Backend Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Backend Developer to join our technology team. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining our cloud-based applications and platforms.

You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to implement APIs, enhance system functionality, and ensure seamless integration of backend components.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and motivated team, with a degree of autonomy while reporting to the CTO and collaborating with the Head of Product.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of backend applications and APIs.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies relevant to backend development and cloud computing.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing server-side applications, including at least 1 year of experience with Node.js.
  • Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
  • Experience with unit testing.
  • Experience using Git.
  • Experience with designing APIs.
  • Docker.
  • Experience in SDLC processes.
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures.
