Job Description

Azeus Systems Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Perform penetration testing of Web and Mobile applications, including iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.
    • Own the vulnerability management lifecycle from identification to remediation and reporting.
    • Conduct active monitoring and detection of operational security risks within the organization.
    • Investigate security incidents and conduct technical analysis using various tools.
    • Liaise directly with users on security inquiries and concerns during Pre-sales and Support.
Engagement with Blue Team

The selected candidate will work closely with the Blue Team for the following tasks:

  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to implement security best practices.
  • Design and improve workflows to automate vulnerability detection as part of the software development lifecycle.
  • Review risks and patches of software components used in applications.
  • Facilitate threat modeling as part of the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs.
  • Implement necessary controls for different certification bodies, such as ISO 27001 and SOC Type 2.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in application security testing and assessments.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and protocols, such as OWASP Top 10 and SANS Critical Security Controls.
  • Experience with application security tools, including Burpsuite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, and Sonarqube (experience with Ghidra or IDA is a plus).
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, JavaScript, C/C++, and scripting languages, such as bash or Powershell.
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions and architectures, such as AWS, and Security information and event management (SIEM) technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and a sense of ownership.
  • Tech certifications, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, are a plus.
