Accounting Assistant

At GOODYEAR CONTAINER CORP., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to learn and grow with our company. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounting operations.

• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and other documents;
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records;
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies;
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes;
• Provide support for audit preparation and other special projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Accountancy or a related field;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Proficiency in MS Office and other computer applications.
